Robert Chailloux, born in April, 1913 was trained at “Cours Superieurs de Dessin des Ecoles de la Ville de Paris”. He later became a pupil at “Ecole des Arts Decoratifs”.
He exhibited at the Salon National des Beaux Arts, the Salon de la Marine and the Salon d’Automne. It is no exaggeration to say his work has been exhibited just about Worldwide. He is particularly famous for his still life paintings
A delightful oil on canvas in beautiful order, presented in a later frame, the colours of which harmonise perfectly with the apples. Signed lower left Robert Chailloux. Provenance, the Unicorn Gallery ltd.
Robert Chailloux died in 2016.
